The Pacific Coast Small Carpenter (Ceratina pacifica) is a bee in the family Apidae, found in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This species is widespread in the western United States and is mainly collected from Chaparral, Mixed conifer, and California oakwoods habitats.
Pacific coast small carpenter bees are solitary bees that excavate nests in pithy or soft-core dead stems of plants, such as Sambucus, Rubus, Brassica, Helianthus, Phlomis and Salvia mellifera.
