The Arizona Small Carpenter (Ceratina arizonensis) is a bee in the family Apidae, found in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This species is widespread in the southwestern United States, and is frequently collected in California oakwoods, Chaparral, Coastal sagebrush, Creosote bush-bur sage, and California steppe habitats.
Arizona small carpenter bees are solitary bees that excavate nests in pithy or soft-core dead stems of plants, such as blackberry brambles or roses.
