California Longhorn-Cuckoo Bee

The California Longhorn-Cuckoo Bee (Triepeolus californicus) is a cuckoo bee in the family Apidae, found in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This species is one of the most common and widespread cuckoo bees to visit garden sites in California.

The California longhorn-cuckoo bee parasitizes nests of bees in the Apidae family, including genera Melissodes, Peponapsis and Svastra.
