- Deciduous shrub or small tree that grows up to 12 feet tall
- Found in moderate shrub lands on the lower levels of Mt. Diablo
- Same family as citrus trees and has a somewhat citrus like odor to the leaves. The oils may produce skin irritation in some people
- Some irrigation is ok, but not be required once established
- Found in Bay hills, Diablo and Altamont sections
