- Herbaceous perennial growing 2 to 3 feet tall
- Stems are hairy and glandular
- Prefers light, sandy, medium loamy, well-drained soil
- Grows in full sun (it can’t grow in shade)
- Leaves triangular shaped 12 to 14 inches tall
- Yellow flowers 1 to 2 inches wide
- Threatened, few occurrences in East Bay
- Found in Black Diamond and Byron Hot Springs sections
