- Evergreen medium to large shrub that grows from 3-10′ tall
- Drought tolerant, good for erosion control or as a windbreak
- Needs full sun and good drainage
- Leaves are tiny, shiny and pointed
- Flowers are white to cream or pink and bloom in the spring then turn reddish brown in the hot summer
- Found in Bay hills, Diablo and Hamilton sections
