Mission Blue

The Mission Blue butterfly (Icaricia icarioides missionensis) is an endangered butterfly native to the San Francisco Bay Area. It is a member of the Gossamer-wing (Lycaenidae) family.

It is attracted to the following California native plants, found in the East Bay region:
